Public Bench Notes

The Nikon F and F2, one module at a time.

Each note explains what every part of one module does, how the mechanism works, what a fault points to, what Nikon specifies and what SpeyBench has observed. Every technical claim carries its provenance, so you can see what is Nikon’s, what is read from Nikon’s drawings, and what is SpeyBench’s own. A note should answer more questions than it raises, but it is not a service procedure.
